let me chime in here with a big THANK YOU. I'm going to increase the capacity of HOD and host this file for starters. It's a great clinic obviously, super-human technique and phrasing as always. Funny hearing Lang, and then something like this. So much more depth and musicallity.
I use the phrase ear-raping from time to time. After hearing these guys in the audience it almost sounds like a literal case. Funny stuff.

What a piece of pure gold.....the ogg file threw me for a bit though - atlthough I've ben able to listen to it via Winamp, but as yet have no idea how to convert it to a WMA or MPs format - any help is mucho appriciato as I'd like to commit this nugget to CD - any moreinfo???

When I saw Vinnie in 1998 at the Montreal Drum Fest, totally different experience. That event remains for me, by far, the best drum performance I've ever witnessed in my life. Talk about being left with an impression... Randy Waldman and Dave Carpenter performed alongside too.

this is not a FACT.
you cannot state, that Vinnie got 123 inch musicality and thomas only 99 inch.
it's SUBJECTIVE.

it's disrespecting in a way, that he thinks, it's FUNNY.
for me, it sounds like, that it's just ridiculous, to compare this two guys,
because VC is 231 % better than lang.
this kind of behaviour isn't able, to see and hear the facts WITHOUT any prejudice.

I'am not a fan of TL and I like VC in special situations very much.
I just cannot understand, WHY someone, who likes VC cannot accept and RESPECT other drummers,
especially this BRILLIANT performance by TL ?

Schreck, it appears English is not your first language. You may want to be careful when accusing someone of not showing respect. "It's funny" is just an expression, not to be taken literally. Do not be so quick to point fingers when you don't have a full grasp of the language please.
I respect Lang, he is an amazing drummer.
